04AI Audit

Audit.

Is your company future-ready?

An honest, outside assessment of where AI and coming technology will help your company, and where they will hurt it.

01Why an audit

An honest answer, from outside.

The AI Audit is for leadership teams who want a clear answer rather than a sales pitch. We assess your readiness, the threats to your business, the opportunities worth pursuing and the order in which to pursue them.

An engagement moves through discovery, assessment, analysis and a read-out to your leadership. You receive a Readiness Assessment, a Threat Assessment, an Opportunity Map and a Roadmap — written to be acted on, whether or not you work with us afterwards.

Every leadership team is being asked the same question: are we ready for what AI will do to our business? Most do not have an honest, outside answer.

An AI Audit gives you one. We look at your data, systems, skills, processes and market, and tell you plainly where you stand, where the risks are, where the opportunities are, and what to do next.

02How it runs

Four phases.

  1. 01

    Discovery

We agree the scope and the questions with your leadership, and gather the documents and data we need.

  2. 02

    Assessment

We interview the people who run the business and study your systems and processes.

  3. 03

    Analysis

We test what we found against where the technology is heading.

  4. 04

    Read-out

We present our findings to your leadership and hand over the written deliverables.

Readiness Assessment.

Where your data, systems, skills and processes stand against what is coming.

Readiness for AI is not one thing. It depends on the state of your data, the systems that hold it, the skills of your people and the way your processes run.

We assess each of these honestly and show you where you are strong, where you are exposed and what would need to change before intelligence can deliver value.

What you get

  • Assessment of data, systems, skills and processes
  • Strengths and gaps set out plainly
  • What would need to change first

Threat Assessment.

Which parts of your business, margin and moat AI is likely to erode.

AI does not only create opportunities. It also weakens some businesses: services that become easy to replicate, margins that are competed away, advantages that stop being advantages.

We look at your business model, your market and your competitors, and tell you which parts are most exposed and why. It is not always comfortable reading. It is better to know.

What you get

  • The parts of your business most exposed to AI
  • Effects on margin and competitive position
  • The reasoning behind each finding

Opportunity Map.

The specific places intelligence would pay back first, ranked by return and effort.

Most organisations can list dozens of ideas for AI. Very few know which ones to do first.

The Opportunity Map identifies the specific places where intelligence would pay back soonest, and ranks them by expected return and the effort involved. It turns a vague ambition into a concrete list.

What you get

  • Specific opportunities identified across the business
  • Each ranked by expected return and effort
  • A clear view of where to start

Roadmap.

A sequenced plan: what to build, what to buy and what to stop doing.

Findings are only useful if they lead to action. The roadmap turns the audit into a plan.

We set out what to build, what to buy and what to stop doing, in a sensible order, with the dependencies between them made clear. It is written to be used by your leadership, whether or not you work with us on what comes next.

What you get

  • A sequenced plan of action
  • Build, buy and stop decisions
  • Dependencies and priorities made clear

08Questions

Before you ask.

Questions

Do we have to buy anything from you after the audit?

No. The audit stands on its own, and the roadmap is written so you can act on it with any partner or on your own.

What do you need from us?
